These terms cover your use of Reduce Picture Size — the website, web app, and the iOS and Android apps if and when they are published. By using the app, you agree to them.

The service

Reduce Picture Size provides image compression, resizing, cropping, rotating, watermarking, redaction, GIF export, and a passport/visa photo fitting and reference-check tool. Processing happens on your own device; we don't receive or store the photos you work with.

Passport and visa photos — important

The country requirements shown in the passport/visa tool are reference information only, not legal or immigration advice, and are not guaranteed to be current or complete. Government photo requirements change, and the checks in this tool only cover dimensions, resolution, format, and file size — not head position, background color, lighting, or expression, which need a human or an in-person photo service to verify. Always confirm current requirements with the destination country's official source before submitting a photo for a real application. We are not responsible for a rejected application, missed appointment, or any other consequence of relying on this tool's output.

Acceptable use

You're responsible for the photos and content you process with this app, and for making sure you have the right to use, edit, and redistribute them. Don't use the app for anything illegal, or to create or distribute content that infringes someone else's rights.

No warranty

The app is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. We don't guarantee the app will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that compressed, cropped, or fitted output will meet every requirement of every third party (including passport offices, print shops, or other services you submit it to).

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app, including a rejected document application or lost photos due to browser or device issues.

Changes

We may update the app and these terms over time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the date above.
