Convert WebP to JPG

Images saved from websites often arrive as WebP, which some editors, older apps and upload forms won't accept. Add your WebP files below — JPG is already selected — and download standard JPEGs.

Everything runs on your device — nothing is uploaded — and you can compress to a size limit, resize or crop in the same pass.

Nothing here yet — add photos above to get started.

Only helps if your background is already one plain color (e.g. a wall) — this is color-distance math, not real subject cutout, so it won't do anything useful against busy or textured backgrounds.

You'll crop it to the exact aspect ratio next.

Frequently asked questions

Why do images I save from websites end up as WebP?

Most sites serve WebP because it loads faster. Your browser saves the file in the format the site sent.

Will converting WebP to JPG lose quality?

Re-encoding always loses a little, but at the default quality the difference is hard to see. The JPG may be somewhat larger than the WebP.

What about transparent WebP images?

JPG has no transparency, so transparent areas become a solid background. Use Convert to PNG to keep transparency.

Can I convert many WebP files at once?

Yes — add a batch, tap Process all, and download individually or as one ZIP.
